Biography
Dwayne Kenneth Schintzius (October 14, 1968 - April 15, 2012) was an American college and professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the University of Florida, and was selected by the San Antonio Spurs in the first round of the 1990 NBA Draft. Off the court, he is known for his performance as a Russian basketball player in the 1996 Whoopi Goldberg-starred comedy film Eddie and for his distinctive mullet haircut, also known as "The Lobster". He was diagnosed with Chronic myelomonocytic leukemia in 2009 and, after treatment and a brief remission period, died from complications of the disease on April 15, 2012.
