Biography
James Ernest Vatcher is a former Major League Baseball outfielder. He played all or part of three seasons in the majors, from 1990 until 1992, for the Philadelphia Phillies, Atlanta Braves, and San Diego Padres. After his major league career, Vatcher played several more years, including stints in Taiwan and Italy. Vatcher in August 1990 was involved in a famous trade that sent him from the Philadelphia Phillies to the Atlanta Braves along with Jeff Parrett and Victor Rosario in exchange for Tommy Greene and long time Brave Dale Murphy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Vatcher
