Biography

Dalip Singh Rana (Hindi: दिलीप सिंह राणा; born 27 August 1972), better known by his ring name The Great Khali (महान खली), is a Rajput-Indian professional wrestler, actor, and powerlifter. He is best known for his time in WWE where he debuted alongside Daivari and had minor alliances with Ranjin Singh and Jinder Mahal. However he spent most of his career as a singles main-event superstar and in 2007 he became the World Heavyweight Champion. He is also a one-time Slammy Award winner.

Before embarking on his professional wrestling career, he was a police officer in the Punjab state police. He won the "Mr. India" title in 1995 and 1996, and has appeared in three Hollywood films as well as two Bollywood films.
