Hall of Fame Pitcher Steve Carlton signed autographs at a card show here in Phoenix. It was $59 to get him on a baseball and $79 on bats & jerseys. It was an autograph worth getting since he was a Triple Crown Winner, 4X CY, 10X All Star, Gold Glove Award winner and won two World Series Rings.
He was a classact and fun player to meet. My mom told him that he was Ozzie Virgil's counselor and he thought that was really cool. He was excited about telling Ozzie Virgil that sometime. Ozzie grew up in the Phoenix area.
