Story
It was a few month project from March-May to get my 2011 All Star hat signed by the three players that represented the Dodgers in the 2011 All Star Game.
The first one signature on that hat was on 3/20 at the end of the workouts before the Dodgers vs Brewers game by Clayton Kershaw. Clayton Kershaw is a very popular Dodger and not as easy of an autograph to get since he got CY Young. I told him it was my birthday and he signed my hat after he borrowed my marker to sign for some kids and a mom.
The second signature was by Andre Ethier a few hours later and I got Andre when I was passing by Dodgers practice field on the way out near end of game. Andre signed my hat by putting to Rob Go Devils with his signature. He is a player that I got to know since he came up through Dodger Stadium and I always talk ASU with him when I see him at Spring Training or at Dodger games.
My third/last autograph for the hat was on 5/21 at Chase Field by Mr. Matt Kemp. It was one of the only autographs he signed that day and he signed it after I gave him an All Star collage that I made for him. He is a guy that I got to know when he came up through the Dodger Stadium and got see many times at Chase Field, at Dodger Stadium, at Petco Park, AT&T Park and Coors Field. After he signed my hat, he then gave my mom a big hug too which was nice of him and made my mom feel special.
He is a special person and he is only getting better.
